| “The
man in red tie” is a new ballet after a short
story by Natalia Kohen. The script was written by Elio
Marchi, choreography was performed by Ana María
Stekelman, music by Lito Vitale, costume design by Renata
Schusseim, lighting by Roberto Taferri and multimedia
stage design by Tito Egurza. He took mainly into account
pictures by Antonio Segui.
The
plot is about the obsession that a main image of a picture
– “The man in red tie” - causes a
“Woman” .
A “Painter” works himself into the ground,
making an effort to finish a picture before dying forced
by a sinister “Art Dealer” .
Julio Bocca plays both roles - the “Painter”
and “The man in red tie” and Cecilia Figaredo
plays the “Woman”
The image of the picture seems to become
alive in front of the “Woman”, captivates
her, and takes her to a nightmare world leading her
to an unexpected end.
Jean Francois Casanovas plays the role of the wicked
“Art Dealer”. He adds his outstanding figure
together with the well known Ballet Argentino dancers
